Still Busy

The title says it all. I had a chance to surf on Emerald Isle and North Topsail Island North Carolina last week.I had 5 good sessions (for the east coast in summer time) out of 7. I found good coctele at a Mexican restaurant near the hotel I stayed in. I'm back home now and my garden is growing. I actually saw my first tomatoes earlier this evening. I cant wait to eat the veggies out of my own garden. I would really like to take a surfing vacation with my wife and kids in Mexico sometime, that would be awesome. After my next deployment I will do so. More random thoughts from me next installment, until next time.

It's been awhile

I haven't posted in quite some time, so here goes. I have moved since last time, now I'm 2 hours from the beach which means less surfing. Since I now own a house, I have lots of things to keep me busy. I am looking forward to spending some time with my family this summer. Next weekend Mama, the kids and I will be going camping at the beach, I hope the surf is decent. I'll really try to make a concerted effort to keep this as up to date as possible. Dennis out.

Back up and running

I havent posted anything since I created this blog. I had some computer issues and what not. So alot has happened since my first post, I have travelled extensively and have worked like a dog the last 5 months. I extend a huge congrats to the Super Bowl Champions Pittsburg Steelers and all of their fans. So I bought my first laptop yesterday, and I decided to try out the wireless functions of it. I first configured it to work with my router. When I searched for available wireless networks, 10 showed up including mine. Out of the 10 networks available 6 had no protection whatsoever. All this time I could have had free internet access(not that I would do such a thing). I cannot believe how many wireless networks are available to me just from my apartment, and over 50% of them are unsecured. Anybody with a little bit of computer exploitation know how could seriously do some damage to these folks. Oh well, not my problem.
